Writing a recommendation letter for a professor….now this is a reversal in roles. But it’s turning out to be really good for me. It’s reminding me of who I am (at least the small part of me that I understand…I’m still working on the rest). I am a thinker, probably first and foremost. Learning to express my thoughts and ideas through creating, however, is the journey I am on now.

This is about as far as my creativity is allowed to extend at work (besides the times when I’m secretly drawing instead of working…). It’s kind of sad that this is the way things are in this office, but the little things can make more of a difference than I realized. Bulletin board art is my small way of sticking it to the man. Maybe I can pull something more extravagant off at some point.
